My journey

Professional experience in software and AI.

My work has taken me from enterprise commerce and analytics to music recommendation and search at Wynk, and embedded machine learning software for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Core competencies: data science, Bayesian modeling, computer vision, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, and software development.

I work across research, implementation, system integration, and technical architecture. That breadth shapes how I build: connecting models with the software around them to create complete systems that work well in everyday use.

A few things you might find useful or interesting.

Rollingin is an offline face recognition attendance kiosk for Android tablets, with on-device matching and built-in reports.

Restaurant AI Agent Platform helps guests discover the menu, place orders, and connect with staff through web and Telegram.

Restaurant Vision Analytics connects multi-camera video with operational data to show occupancy, dwell time, and movement across a restaurant.

In my free time

Hardware projects.

As a hobby, I experiment with microcontrollers, sensors, and home automation. I enjoy bringing software and hardware together and seeing the complete system work.

A personal project

IoT-Enabled Smart Laundromat Automation System.

A functional hardware and software prototype that turned domestic washing machines into remotely managed, laundromat-style machines.

I designed and built a Raspberry Pi Pico-based control system that brought together current sensing, relay control, and appliance monitoring. Real-time electrical current measurements identified washing-machine operating patterns, determined machine availability, and automatically detected the end of a wash cycle.

I built a Django web application where users could see available and occupied machines, start a session, make payments, and monitor machine status. I also designed the communication and control workflow between the application and the embedded hardware, with relay-based switching enabling a machine only after a successful payment.

An automated detergent dispenser used a peristaltic pump triggered by the application after payment and session activation. The working prototype connected sensor acquisition, appliance control, backend services, and real-world electromechanical integration.

If you’re working on a similar project and could use some guidance, I’d be happy to share what I learned and help where I can.

Technologies: Raspberry Pi Pico, Python/MicroPython, Django, current/amperage sensing, relay control, peristaltic pumps, embedded systems, IoT, sensor integration, and web applications.

A personal project

A custom coffee roasting machine.

My current goal: build a fully operational prototype that roasts great coffee.

I’m also a coffee aficionado, and my current goal is to build a custom coffee roasting machine prototype, a slightly ambitious project, but one I’d genuinely enjoy bringing to life.

If this project interests you, I’d be happy to connect. Whether you enjoy coffee roasting, working with hardware, or simply figuring things out together, I’d love to exchange ideas and explore building the prototype with you.
